Rock is our first name, so it seems like we're off to a good start simply by introducing ourselves.
We are centrally located in the heart of the Finger Lakes alongside of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail's western NY-14 branch.
Our 2024 event(s) will be hosted from the deck of Dean's Cottage, overlooking the former Fox Run Golf course, now Rock Stream Retreat.
How far is it from the parking area to the event area?
General parking is located directly behind the event area and an easy walk. Both the ADA and the motorcycle parking is downhill from the event area. We offer a complimentary golf cart shuttle throughout the event between these lower areas.
How much does it cost for parking?
Parking is FREE.
Is there a designated motorcycle parking area?
Yes, if you would like to park on a firm, gravel lot, please use the NY-RT14 lower entrance next door to the U-Haul center. A parking volunteer will direct you to your area. We'll be running golf cart shuttles. If the shuttle is full you have the option of walking uphill a quarter of a mile to the event site.
Is there accessible parking?
Yes, accessible parking is available using the Main Entrance (2990 Nye Road). We ask that you have your permit displayed and please follow the parking volunteers directions.
Is there VIP parking?
Sort of - but you'll need to get there ahead of everyone else. :-) No, we do not offer official VIP parking at this time. All general parking is located directly behind the event area and has easy access in & out.
What time does the parking area open?
Gates will open to the grounds at 4PM.
Where exactly are you located?
For GPS, Google Maps, etc. use: 2990 Nye Road Rock Stream, NY 14878. Nye Road is across from Barnstormer Winery on NY Route 14 (which we highly recommend you visit to pre-game for any of our events).
Where is the parking entrance?
The main entrance to Rock Stream Retreat is located on Nye Road just off of NY-Route 14. Our address is 2990 Nye Road and there is signage at the gates.
Can we bring in outside food and coolers?
Yes! It's a reunion. We'll also have food (chicken, pulled pork, etc.) and soft drinks available for purchase. (Cash only).
Do you accept credit cards?
No, not yet.
Are pets allowed?
No. Sorry.
Are the events rain or shine?
Yes, as they(?) say, the show must go on. Bring your umbrellas if it looks like rain.
Can we bring lawn chairs and/or blankets?
Yes! Please do! Currently we're using Dean's Cottage's deck for our stage and there's plenty of lawn space with unobstructed views.
Can we hike around the grounds?
Our 80 acres of meadows, ponds, and forest are sometimes in use by multiple events. If attending a concert, PLEASE stay within the parking & concert event areas.
Is tailgating allowed?
No, tailgating is not allowed. Given the time constraints between gates opening and music starting, please keep all festivities within the event area.
My band used to play at the Fireside Chat. Can we set-up a table or area to get together with friends?
Yes! Bring an EZ-Up and whatever else you want to for our designated band area. A couple bands have indicated they'll be on hand with CDs, etc.
Should I bring old flyers and photos?
Please do! We plan on having a scanner on hand to digitize some of the memorabilia. We also will have a memorial wall of sorts where people can honor the friends and family we've lost along the way and couldn't join us.
Where can I purchase tickets?
The 2024 Fireside Chat Reunion is a free event. No tickets necessary.
